Awkwafina
Awkwafina was an American actor and musician. She began by releasing hilarious, intelligently composed music that tackled topics like race and sexuality. She then expanded her audience to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese-Korean immigrants who resided in Forest Hills Queens. Her first experience with music came via the trumpet. Alongside classical music and jazz, the young Nora began studying hip-hop in her teens. When she was in the college years, she remained focused on her studies, and then studied women's studies and journalism. For a brief period during her time in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were also offered. The focus changed towards music after she graduated. Her My Vag song, My Vag which was her reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick, became a viral hit on the Internet and was later featured on her debut album Yellow Ranger. It also included other popular hits, including the body positive Queef and winking hometown tour NYC BitcheUSD. The track that was published specifically linked to Awkwafinas NYC, her 2015 travel guide. After a successful career as a performer She chose to assume the character of actress. In addition to early shows like Girl Code and Tawk she appeared in films like Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018, she scored breakthrough roles in a handful of high-profile movies like Dude Ocean's 8, and Crazy Rich Asians. She released the EP, in Fina We Trust in June of the year.
