Mary McCormack, an American actress, is most well-known for her lead roles in TV programs like 'The West Wing, "In Plain Sight," as well as Loaded.' Her parents were a therapist and an ice cream store manager, McCormack hails from a family that has no connection to the entertainment field. Her professional career started when she was 12 years old when she appeared in a stage production of 'Amahl and the Night Visitors', which was the Christmas-themed opera. At the age of 12, she began her acting career with a production of the holiday musical "Amahl And The Night Visitors".
